About This Blog
My name is Mohamadreza Shafiei. I am a master’s student in physics and nanomaterials at Sorbonne Université, originally from Isfahan, Iran, and currently living in Paris.
I created this blog as a place to think in writing. Most posts grow out of questions I encounter while studying, doing research, or simply trying to understand something that catches my attention. My main interests are physics, complexity, computational methods, machine learning, and materials science, among lots of other things.
I treat what I publish here as part of an ongoing learning process rather than a collection of finished conclusions. My understanding changes, and the articles may change with it.
I should confess that I use AI tools during the writing process, mainly to help organize, edit, and examine my ideas.
Technical posts are intended for learning and discussion rather than as substitutes for academic or professional sources. When my writing builds on the work of others, I try to point readers toward the original sources.
Corrections, disagreements, suggestions, and conversations are always welcome. You can reach me by email or by commenting on GitHub.
